THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY
Mr. Aree Phoosomboon
Chairman of Aree Group
He began his lumber career as a sawmill worker and an audit for quality of exported lumber for 5 years and decided to start his own wood export business to Europe and America.
1973
The company started to export products to foreign countries
A pioneer in the wood trading business
He had the opportunity to export Pradu timber to Laos, Japan, and Hong Kong until the company was honored as “KING OF ROSEWOOD” and he was the first to receive a forestry concession from the Laos government.
1980
Aree Aphiluck Co., Ltd. was established
He expanded his investment into the lumber industry.
He had foreseen the great opportunity to expand his investment by adding value to wood. Therefore, Aree Apiluck Co., Ltd. was established to manufacture carved wooden pillars exported to Japan and expanded various products such as the plywood department, the inventive parquet and mosaics.
With the quality of the products and the utmost loyalty to the customers, Aree Aphiluck Co., Ltd. has grown rapidly.
